Happy Friday Lovelies! TGIF!!!!!!

We leave for vacation tomorrow & I could not be more ready or excited!!! What do y'all have planned for the weekend?? I hope you're doing something fun to celebrate this precious life!

Today I am sharing with you a super fun Lovelier Look! Pineapple Shorts! AHH! Combining two summer staples - pineapple anything & shorts!

My sweet mom surprised me & bought me these adorable shorts from Belk! I was in love! And they fit perfectly! They are so comfortable & versatile! You can dress them up like I did with wedges or you can just throw on a white tee & flip flops! Another thing I love about these shorts is that they have SO many colors in them! This is such an amazing feature - because you can pair so many different tops with them! Ah - love!

This top is a #MustHave top on most Blogger's sites! I ordered it last year at the #NSale in both back & white. Nordstrom messed up and sent me 3 of the white tops and 1 black - I only ordered 1 black & 1 white - but they didn't charge me for 3 white - so now I have 3 white :) These tops are year around tops! they go perfectly tucked under a tank with shorts (they're long.) Or with jeans & boots! Go snag yourself one in every color!

These wedges make me oh so happy! I have had them since middle school - yep! Probably only paid $30 for them. This style wedge never goes out of style & being black - they go with so much!  I tagged some similar styles for y'all!

I love love love a choker! This black velvet choker is definitely a #MustHave

My sunnies are my classic BP $12 brand from Nordstrom. I love buying cheap sunnies - the trends come & go - so why spend a fortune on something that's most likely going to get stepped on & break anyways?

So long story short - I adore this leather jacket. Short stories aren't fun are they? Here's the story :) SO My sweet husband & I went on a Mediterranean Cruise for our Honeymoon in June of 2015. One of our stops was Florence - oh to go back!! On the way into Florence we stopped at a leather factory. This jacket was on display right when you walked in the door - my jaw dropped - it was so stunning - and faux leather in this color is just tacky. Although I love me so faux leather - just in other colors. Anyways - i oooohhhed & ahhhed over it before we had to get back on our way to Florence - knowing I could never afford to buy that for myself - I took a picture and knew I would treasure that photo & hopefully go back one day to buy it. WELL - my parents went on the same cruise only in September of 2015. They did some snooping and saw the jacket on my Facebook album from the trip - and THEY BOUGHT IT FOR ME!!!!!!!!!!!! So generous & sweet - I couldn't believe it!!! I had no idea they did this - until my birthday in January 2016 rolled around & there it was in a gift bag. I value that jacket so much. It is my most precious possession next to my wedding ring & yurman! 

In a Ross Gellar voice..."I think the word you're looking for is Anyways..."

Then we have this classic #LBD - I love me a little black dress - I can never justify NOT buying a black dress. They're timeless. I love how this dress flows.

Next we have my favorite wedges in snakeskin. If you ever see these on Hautelook - BUY THEM! They really are so comfortable & chic!

Life Lately

Happy Thursday Lovelies!

I want to share some Life Lately with y'all! No big news - just crazy life :)

At the end of July, I went to Dallas for a week for work then met my amazing husband in Chicago for the weekend for an awesome family wedding! We had SO. MUCH. FUN. That Saturday morning was definition perfect of us - we still talk about how perfect it was. We had a relaxing morning in our stunning Langham room - then ventured to Intelligentsia Coffee for literally the BEST coffee I've ever had! Then we walked through the park for a while holding hands - magical :) Then we bought our Chicago Starbucks cup (we collect those.) After Starbucks, we preordered a Giordano's Pizza - YUM - ate it in our room - and the rest is history :) We were having so much fun that we lost track of time (the wedding was at 1pm & reception in the evening) so much so that I didn't do my hair - took it down from a messy bun & ran my fingers through it and then had to do my makeup in 5 minutes including my mascara in the elevator at the Langham - haha - oh this life! After our perfect morning we had an unbelievable day celebrating the wedding with family. Oh - also Friday night in Chicago was out of this world - so fun. 

Then typical life went on - which meant lots of coffee, laughs, work, marshmallow (our goldendoodle), love, and dreaming. 

Next - I went to Atlanta for a week of work - OY. Not good. I made it through work Tuesday & Wednesday then on Wednesday evening I got SO sick - yuck! And I stayed so sick until Saturday late morning. We had to go home early - Thursday night instead of Saturday. I am still in the process of recovering - but getting better every minute - Praise The Lord! And I can actually function now so - praise!

This week we are preparing for the big Newton family reunion! Ceej & I have been together for 6 years & married for 1 - but believe it or not - this is my very first family reunion! Ahh!! I absolutely love Ceej's big family! There's usually around 50 people at the reunion - but this time about 35ish.  They have gone to different beaches over the years - and we're at the beach again this year! There's nothing better than a week at the beach - it heals the soul. We are so excited for love & laughter. So many memories will be made! Follow me on snapchat for a play-by-play!

Here's an orange Lovelier Look to brighten your week!

I LOVE this top.. guess where it's from... (Link) how funny is that? I used to shop there in middle school - then stopped obviously. Then about 3 months ago I went on their website to see what they offer now - and oh my word - LOVE! Some items are still so middle school - but others I adore! I purchased this top in orange & in taupe as well as a marled sweater & a big travel tote - all super cheap - but I love!!!

** This top is now only $10!!! Go buy it in every color :)

o bandanas are making their way back in and they're bringing their friend the choker with them. And I think I love??? Bandanas I am still learning to love - I feel so country wearing one haha - but I LOVE me so chokers! Tomorrow's post features one!

I heard these denim cut-offs were fabulous... long story short - I bought them brand new for $10 - Yay! And they are fabulous - BUT - I feel like they are SO short - I couldn't imagine wearing those to the grocery store or to a restaurant haha. They are definitely made for throwing on over your bikini - wearing on the beach - hanging out at a home. But I wouldn't recommend wearing these just out and about - too short :)

My sweet husband bought these shoes for me on our Honeymoon in Palma De Mallorca - we were in Zara Home & I fell in LOVE! So he bought them for me - and still surprises me with gifts all the time - he actually just bought me a pair of shoes yesterday that I have been wanting for SO long - you'll see them soon :)

Happy Saturday Lovelies!

It's the weekend - YAY!

I am soooo close to being done with work - this afternoon we will be done with Atlanta market and be headed back to Greenville! I CANNOT WAIT to see my amazing husband & adorable doggie. Very very very blessed!

We are brushing this week off of our shoulders literally with this precious off the shoulder top! This top has been everywhere on blogs & I can totally see why! It is so light, cute, and FUN! I'm not going to lie - every time I wear this top it just makes me dance - it will most definitely be packed in my cruise bag in February!

These are my very favorite pair of pants - I caught this trendy style for way less at old navy - but they sold out of most sizes sooo quickly! So - I linked a super similar style!

I bought these BCBG wedges on clearance in college - and I wear them all the time! They do have a skinny footprint though - so they can be challenging to walk in compared to normal wedges - but so worth it. They are so flattering & the perfect color!

Praise the Lord for Friday!!! I am working through Saturday this week while in Atlanta. But I sure will celebrate Friday.. tomorrow night when I am finally home from a long work week!

Here's one of my favorite #OOTD looks! All items I am wearing are closet staples that can be mixed & matched a million times! 

I am wearing the snakeskin version of my favorite wedges - so comfy & snakeskin is another neutral pattern - and you know how I love those!! I posted the nude wedges in my previous Lovelier Post!

These jeans are SO comfy - so soft - buy them - they're SO worth it!

I have had this utility jacket from Loft for probably 6 years now - and I wear it ALL. THE. TIME. 

I own this tank in a few colors - also a staple - goes with everything - wear it as is or knot it - so versatile and soft!

I love me a bralette. However - there are times to and to not wear a bralette. Perfect occasions are, GNO, Date Night, City Travels, and Vacation. This Annie Bing Bralette is the best you'll ever find - I'm hoping to purchase the white version soon!

All About Lace... Lace is SO feminine & SO fashionable. Lace never goes out of style - it's a classic.

I am all about lace - BUT I also like to add an edge to it - whether that be chambray, a leather jacket, or big bold accessories. 

I have shown some of my current favorite lace looks along with some edgy accessories.

Happy Thursday Lovelies!

I love me some camo! I believe that camo is a closet staple - in two different items - a trendy jacket & a pair of skinnies. I have both :) Camo is also like leopard & stripes - it goes with almost everything! I love this little camo jacket to throw on over a white tee & jeans, or with leather or with a dress! But be careful! some camo can be very tacky - so choose wisely :)

This white dress is ah-mazing!!! I love it so much that I bought two... but hold your horses - there is a reason why I bought two besides my love for it. I bought it first in April - fell in love - wore it on our anniversary trip to Disney - came home washed & dried it - JUST AS THE LABEL SAID - and it shrunk 6 inches. OY. So I thought about just getting it shortened - but then just decided I could knot it like so! BUT THEN... I bought the second dress since I originally loved the maxi look - bought it - wore it - loved it - washed it - DID NOT DRY IT - and it also shrunk 6 inches. So maybe I will shorten this one??? :) So just a warning for any friends wanting to purchase this dress :)

These wedges are some of my go-to shoes! You will see them all summer long! They are SO comfy and they go with everything!

And I am of course wearing my favorite accessories & sunnies :)
